ADDING ITEMS
Manage and add items in Craftable's New Unified Platform.
Adding items in Craftable's New Unified Platform is simple! Learn how to add items at both the ALL level (if you have the correct permissions) and the Department level by watching the brief tutorial video below.
Adding Items at the ALL Level:
- Navigate to Items.
- Press + New Item.
- Name your item.
- Select a category.
- Enter a count unit for the item.
- This is how you will count the item when taking inventory.
- Under the Departments tab, select the departments where you want the item to be accessible.
- Press Save Item to finalize.
Adding Items at the Department level:
- Navigate to Items & Vendors > Items.
- Press + New Item.
- Name the item.
- Select the category.
- Navigate to the Purchases tab,
- Press + Add Purchase Unit
- Select the Vendor and enter the item's Pack Size and Price.
- Press Add to save the PU.
- Press Save Item to finalize.
