Global Interface Improvements
This article includes all of the exciting, new updates and improvements you'll find in our new Books Experience!
Filters
Filters have been redesigned to be more powerful while taking up less screen space. Filter controls are anchored to the top of each table and remain visible as you scroll. The search bar is also sticky.
Sorting
In addition to sorting by clicking a column header, a dedicated sorting menu has been added to the top of each table. Sorting is now available on a broader range of columns.
Mass Actions
A floating action overlay appears at the bottom of the screen when one or more rows are selected. It travels with your focus within the table and automatically filters out actions that do not apply to all selected items.
Pinned Columns
- The primary identifier column is now pinned to the left side of most tables, along with the selection checkbox, so you always know what you're viewing when scrolling horizontally.
- The action column is now pinned to the right side of most tables, so row-level actions are always accessible without scrolling.
Truncation Indicators & Hover Tooltips
- Truncated cell values are now visually indicated with an ellipsis. Hover over any truncated field to see its full value.
- Columns containing multiple values — such as store and department allocations — now display a hover tooltip with the complete list.
Sticky Totals
Page-level totals at the bottom of tables are now sticky and remain visible at all times, including while filtering, searching, and scrolling.
New Date Range Component
All date filters have been updated to a unified calendar component that supports range selection and includes convenient preset options.
Updated Date Format
Dates throughout the application are now displayed as Month DD, YYYY (e.g., May 25, 2026) for improved readability.
Dark Mode
Dark mode is now available and can be toggled on or off from the Appearance section within Settings.
Improved Mobile Experience
Object detail pages now use a card-based layout on mobile devices, replacing the previous wide table format that required horizontal scrolling on smaller screens.
Updated Landing Pages
-
The Payments Suspended landing page now allows you to re-enable payments directly.
-
The No Accounting Integration landing page has also been updated with a cleaner, more informative layout.
