      CREATING BATCHES AT YOUR COMMISSARY

      A Commissary may sell individual Items to a Store(s) but they may also sell prepped recipes or Batches. Please see the steps below on how to create Batches at your Commissary that may be sold or transferred to your Store(s).

      Creating a Batch for Commissary

      A Commissary may sell individual Items to a Store(s) but they may also sell prepped recipes or Batches.  Please see the steps below on how to create Batches at your Commissary that may be sold or transferred to your Store(s).

      Director-level

      1. Login to your Director account.

      2. Go to Stores & Markets > Markets from navigation.

      3. Click + Add Market.

      4. Add Market for your Commissary.

      5. Go to Stores & Markets > Stores from navigation.

      6. Select your Commissary STORE and add your Market - Commissary.

      7. Go to Recipes > Menu Lists from navigation.

      8. Create a Menu List for your Commissary Recipes. Link Menu List to Market - Commissary.

      9. Go to Recipes > Recipes from navigation.

      10. Click + New Recipe.

      11. Create a Recipe using Items the Commissary purchases from their Vendor(s).

      12. Save Recipe.

      13. Go to Store Sync from navigation.

      14. Click Sync Stores.

      Commissary-level

      1. Login to your Commissary.

      2. Go to Inventory > Prep Items & Batches from the navigation.

      3. Select + New.

      4. Enter the Commissary Recipe, Category, and Count Unit (CU). Select Batch and toggle Add to Price List. Price is the amount charged by the Commissary to the Store(s).

      5. Enter Batch Make details and select Storage location(s).

      6. Click Save.

      7. Go to Commissary > Price List from the navigation.

      8. Click Batched Item.

      9. Confirm Price List Batched Item details. Update Price and/or Pack Size depending on the option you would like to give your Store(s) for purchasing the Item.

        Some things to keep in mind

        • The above assumes your Commissary will set and create its Batches. If you would like to have the Batches set at Director, go to Director Settings > Director Configurations > Corporate Prep Items & Batches at the Director level.

        • Deciding whether or not to allow your Commissary to set its Batches should be decided before the Store(s) begins ordering from the Commissary.
