MICROS SIMPHONY POLLER REQUIREMENTS

The information below outlines the requirements needed to set up our Micros Simphony Poller Integration successfully. 

Requirements:

As an overview, Craftable retrieves your POS data by connecting directly to your SQL Server database and querying the CheckPostingDB for ticket-level data.

  1. Please have Admin credentials for the CAPS server.
  2. We use Windows Authentication to access your database. If the admin does not have
    access to the DB via Windows Authentication, please obtain a valid DB username and password. Whoever performed the initial micros install or your internal IT team should have or can create these for you.
  3. The following sites must be whitelisted:
    1. https://bevager.com
    2. https://s3-us-west-2.amazonaws.com
  4. We only support Microsoft SQL Server, including SQL Server Express. If unsure what
    engine is installed on your server, please reach out to your IT team or the individual who set up the initial install.

Important Note: If your location is running Simphony version 19.2 or higher, the preferred integration method is Simphony BI API rather than the standard poller connection. The BI API provides an enhanced integration experience.

To confirm your version, open EMC, navigate to the Help menu, and select About Enterprise Management Console. Your current Simphony version will be displayed there.
