"Payments Disabled" - What To Do
The Payments feature within Craftable allows customers to send payments to vendors for approved bills. There may be times where this function becomes disabled, and this article walks through reasons this could happen.
As a security measure, the Craftable Payments feature will automatically be disabled if any issues with one or more payments occur. These issues can be any of the following:
- The ACH ID listed in the Bank Accounts section for Payments is not allow-listed with the bank used for making payments
- One or more payments failed
If you notice your Payments feature is disabled, here is how you can re-enable it with ease:
- Ensure that the ACH ID 1472830841 has been allow-listed with your bank (this ACH ID is also listed within the info bubble at the top of the page in the Settings menu > Bank Accounts section in Books). If you have successfully sent payments previously, or if this is only happening with a single payment and other payments are going through successfully, then this is likely not the reason, and you can skip to #2.

- Ensure the vendor is properly set up for payments. On the payments page in Books, vendors will be flagged if they are not configured for payments:

You can also add in a filter for Missing Payment Method, and the Payment Status will display with Payment Info Missing.
- Also check the vendor's payment information to ensure its accurate. If you need to make updates, please do so before trying to re-enable payments.
