R365 ACCOUNTING INTEGRATION

With R365, Craftable can integrate either via CSV (an export/import process), or via FTP (one-click sync). To complete the integration you should select your preferred integration method, and your Implementation Coordinator will set this up for you. Please see the information below on both methods to make your decision:

CSV

The Export/Import process requires you to export a CSV file of your Bills/Credits from Books, and then import it into R365.

Pros: You can review files before sync, and sync in real-time (no delay)
Cons: No images will be imported into R365 if you have invoice images attached, and this requires a manual import/export.

FTP

The FTP option is a "Direct" integration, which means you will simply click "Sync" within Books, and your bills and credits will be sent through to R365.

Pros: Invoice images are synced, and a simple 1-click sync process
Cons: Time delay. Typically about 15 minutes, but can be longer depending on the volume of images being imported into R365. Additionally, you do not have a chance to review the file before import.

Please let your Implementation Coordinator know your preferred integration type. If you select the FTP option please reach out to the R365 contact who oversees your account, as they will assist you in providing the FTP credentials and database details to complete the integration. Your Implementation Coordinator will provide the exact details needed.

Post-Integration

Once your integration is complete please watch the video below to learn how to use Books.

FAQs

Can I change which integration type I use later?

Yes, this setting can be changed later if you decide you'd like to use the other method. Keep in mind if you're changing from CSV to FTP there may be a delay as we require additional details from your R365 contact.
