Are you looking for the most popular item on your menu? What are the sales on this menu item to possibly see if you can make a menu price increase or look to see what items don’t sell so you can remove them to make room for something new? By using the Weekly Recipe Sales Report you will see all of your Recipe sales through your POS system over a weekly Period. Refer to the steps below on how to view the Weekly Recipe Sales Report.
Viewing Weekly Recipe Sales Report
- Click Reports List from the Reports navigation.
- Click Weekly Recipe Sales under the Point of Sales heading.
- Filter by Period/Date.
- Click Go to view the results.
- Click on the down arrow next to the Recipe name to see the exact date(s) of the sale.
Some things to keep in mind
- Each column in the report can be clicked on to reorganize the data.
For example, you can click on Days to see in descending order which of your Recipes are the most popular and sold daily. - Export the data in this report to Excel by clicking the download button in the upper right.
Column Key
Recipe: Name of Recipe
POS Item: Item as displayed in POS system
POS Group: Name of POS Group
POS Subgroup: Name of POS Subgroup
Days: Total number of days the Recipe was sold in the filtered time frame
Qty: Total Qty of the recipe sold in a day
Amt: Net Sales (gross - discounts) *note* ( includes modifier pricing that has been added to recipes)
